Planning guide · Klang Valley
Food truck catering for your next event.
A food truck can suit an office celebration, birthday, wedding gathering or community event. The useful first step is choosing the service model and giving the operator enough detail to quote properly.
Choose how guests will be served
Paid catering
The organiser agrees a menu, quantity or minimum spend with the operator and covers the food cost. This works well when food is included for invited guests.
Guest-paid vending
Guests buy their own food from the truck. Ask about expected attendance, minimum sales, service time and what happens if turnout is lower than expected.
Prepare these details
Date and serving window
Share the event date and the exact time you want service to begin and end.
Venue and access
Give the full venue, parking position, access restrictions and any loading or security requirements.
Guest estimate
Provide a realistic attendance estimate. For vending, attendance is not a guarantee of sales.
Menu and dietary needs
Ask about current dishes, prices, portions, allergens and any halal or vegetarian requirements important to your event.
Areas covered
Food Trucks MY starts with operators serving Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Subang Jaya, Puchong, Klang, Ampang and Kajang. Each approved listing shows the areas that operator chooses to serve.
How Food Trucks MY works
Browse reviewed, owner-submitted listings. Add your date, serving time, venue, guest estimate and service preference. The site prepares a WhatsApp enquiry for you to review and send. Availability, menu, pricing, access and booking terms are agreed directly with the operator.
The directory is welcoming its first operators. Listings appear only after an operator submits their business details and photos for review.
